Hello all!
I hope you're doing well and staying warm as well as safe during this cold and icy weather.
Below you'll find the reading response questions for this week.
Have a good evening!

1. I'm repeating this question because I think it's IMPORTANT and not many people answered it last time: Each story describes a relationship between a man and a woman. What message do you think these authors are giving about romantic relationships and friendships? What in the stories helps you support that this is the message they are communicating?
2. Now that we've read about 6 different stories both by male and female writers, how do you think their particular gender affects the stories they're telling? First, how does their gender (being male or female) affect the way you receive the story? And how does it affect the way you perceive the characters in the story? In general, you can also explore the general stereotypes of males & females in relationships, and how this manifests in the stories. Why do you think the author has utilized the stereotypes (or gone against the grain)? For what purpose would they be using them or choosing not to?
