Reading response #2 I feel like the Authors are trying to show you the differences in relationships and friendships and how they varie. In "The Hills Like White Elephants" by Ernest Hemingway. You have a girl and her American boyfriend who already have a tad bit of tension in there relationship, the girl has to make up her mind if she's going to go forth with the Abortion process. She's questioning it because she doesn't want it to make their relationship any worst then it already is. Then you have the male who's continually encouraging it telling her everything's going to be the same nothing is going to change. In " The Sun, the moon and the stars" by Junot Diaz It was the male who made the mistake and cheated on in girlfriend but tried everything he could to make things right. This shows you that it's not always the women who put their all in relationships men do too, relationships and friendships tend to vary because every one is different. You have relationships or marriages that people are in where the love has died out but because they were together for so long they refuse to leave each other side. Then you have relationships that the male and female live each other genuinely for as along as you live. You should never be somewhere your not happy don't allow your feelings get in the way of your happiness
